Loyettes ground-mounted PV power plant

EDF renouvelables has chosen to award Entech for the Loyettes project! It concerns the construction of a 5MWp ground-mounted solar power plant located in the city of Loyettes near Lyon. The plant, which is currently under construction, is located on an old quarry, which will enable the development of neglected communal land. It will produce 5.8 GWh per year, equivalent to the electricity consumption of around 1,300 households.

We are carrying out the electrical engineering, the assembly of the structures and the transformer station. This former quarry is at risk of rising water tables, which implies the installation of elevated PV structures, and specific methodology for construction.

The first photovoltaic panels are currently being installed. Commissioning is scheduled for spring 2021.
