K2 photovoltaic power plant
In operation
The power plant is located on the roof of the K2 bunker of the former submarine base in Lorient where 10,000 photovoltaic panels have been installed to produce 3000 MWh per year, directly injected into the grid. This solar power plant is one of the largest rooftop solar plants in the urban environment in France. The building is operated by Plastimo and the Hydrophone concert hall. This project is financed by the Mixed Economy Company XSEA of the Lorient Agglomeration. The project manager is Legendre Energie.
On this project, situated at a height of 20 metres, our provision of service included the execution of design studies and the sizing of the installation, with the goal of optimising costs and its production. We have also designed an optimised architecture to limit voltage drops.
Our provision of service is a turn-key provision from HV to LV including remote communication.
