Increase in feed-in tariffs for photovoltaic electricity

The Commission for Energy Regulation has chosen to support the photovoltaic industry, which is experiencing difficulties due to rising costs linked to the economic recovery, the tension on raw materials and the war in Ukraine.

Two major news are to be taken into account for project owners:

  • The modification of the feed-in tariff initially announced for the period from May 1 to July 31, 2022
  • The freezing of the evolution (usually degressive) of premiums and feed-in tariffs until April 30, 2023

In concrete terms, this means that applications for connection submitted between May 1 and July 31, 2022 will have a feed-in tariff over 20 years of 10.68 ct € / kWh instead of 10.03 ct € / kWh announced (valid for plants from 100 to 500 kWp).

In addition, stopping the quarterly decrease of the feed-in tariffs allows project developers to keep an interesting economic projection even if the costs of raw materials continue to increase.
