Delivery of France’s largest battery energy storage system

The brand new 10MW/11.3MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) is shipped today from Entech smart energies facilities to its sunny French Guiana final destination.
Entech smart energies is extremely proud to have been selected by Voltalia to deliver what is known today as the French largest battery storage system. Thanks to Entech smart energies teams to have engineered and built an impressive challenge of two units;
The first unit (5 MW/4 MWh) dedicated to frequency regulation services while the second (5 MW/7.3 MWh) to daily arbitrage purposes.
Both will support the grid operator to significantly improving network quality while reducing energy cost.
